The Amazing Race 9

Here We Go, Baby, Off to Win a Million Bucks!

Original Airdate: 02.28.2006

The Race is back - just as exciting, bumbling, screechy and fun as ever. As teams run through Brazil, we experience the joy of humorous location pronunciations and shots of clue boxes longing for some attention. John & Scott fly the coop.

I'm Filthy and I Love It

Original Airdate: 03.07.2006

As the teams race through Brazil, things heat up with a bit of flirting (or compensating). Racers go up. Racers go down. Racers commune with the spirit of Mr. Wizard. Put those earplugs away, you aren't going to need them next week.

I Am in Russia Playing with the Dolls

Original Airdate: 03.14.2006

The Race returns to Russia where dolls are played with, trolleys are washed and swimming fears are faced. (If the clue says, "take a plunge" and you are afraid of swimming, don't volunteer!) It's a "to be continued," so no one is sent to the gulag.

It's Not Over Until the Phil Sings

Original Airdate: 03.21.2006

Airport drama returns to the Race as some computers conspire to un-bunch the teams. Once that is sorted out, they enjoy some German precision, tacky product-placement and German silliness (yeah, that does exist). Auf wiedersehen, Wanda and Desiree.

Good Thing I Took That Human Anatomy Class in High School

Original Airdate: 03.28.2006

The Racers head to Italy and compete in the "most creative way to pronounce Palermo" contest. With the help of the Internet, BJ & Tyler surf into first. Danielle & Dani cry through their yield time and are left out to dry.

Sleep Deprivation Is Really Starting to Irritate Me

Original Airdate: 04.05.2006

Picture it: Sicily - not the middle of nowhere. Racers count small heads, carry big fish, play a little water polo and enjoy a bit of music before landing on the mat. Oh, and Phil dances a little jig. In the end, it's a nerdy elimination.

Herculean Effort for Some Herculean Dudes

Original Airdate: 04.12.2006

Teams head to Greece and encounter the first Fast Forward of the Race - won by Eric & Jeremy as they cruise into first. *yawn* Two teams get 15 minute penalties, but, in the end, Lake & Michelle sleep with the fishies.

Here Comes the Bedouin!

Original Airdate: 04.19.2006

The Race heads to Oman where a bunch allows the Hippies to catch up - for a bit. The Frats take a camel on a scenic tour and teams perform another "needle in a haystack" task while baking in the desert. In the end, the Hippies are mugged by The Man.

Do You Know How Much Running I Did Today, Phil?

Original Airdate: 04.26.2006

As the Race heads Down Under, the airline gods smile on the Hippies and save them from a good Guido-ing. Teams bike, brush and get slapped around by T-Bag as they plan their prison break. Oh, wrong show. Fran & Barry? Get the boot.

Man, They Should Have Used Their Fake Names

Original Airdate: 05.03.2006

As the teams race through Australia, cabs get cancelled and karma kicks butt. No sudden movements as MoJo are yielded. Sky diving, crocs and termites - termites? Ray & Yolanda pick the right leg to win; BJ & Tyler pick the right leg to lose.

I Think This Monkey Likes Me!

Original Airdate: 05.10.2006

BJ & Tyler have wardrobe issues, MoJo have info issues and Monkeys (seriously) are the stars of the show. The Hippies barf their way through a mass cricket-eating Fast Forward while Mo pouts her way into last. Bu-bye.

5 Continents...10 Countries...And More than 59 thousand Miles!

Original Airdate: 05.17.2006

From the bright lights of Tokyo all the way back to Denver, Ray & Yolanda lag behind while Eric & Jeremy lead the pack. But a tricky final task switches things up and BJ & Tyler take home the million. TTOW!
