John Dye, who played angel Andrew on 'Touched By An Angel' for nine seasons, has died.

The actor passed away from heart failure in California on Monday. He was 47.

The Mississippi-born actor co-starred with Roma Downey and Della Reese on the hit CBS show from 1994 to 2003, and was a regular on shows including 'Tour of Duty,' 'Jack's Place' and 'Hotel Malibu.'

He also appeared on 'Murder, She Wrote,' 'Promised Land,' and ''The Young & The Restless,' as well as the TV movies 'The Billionaire Boys Club,' 'Once Upon A Christmas,' and its sequel, 'Twice Upon A Christmas.'

I'm so sad about that! My mom used to watch that show and after she passed away, I started watching it just because she used to and, agnostic or not, that show really was comforting - John Dye's character in particular made the concept of death so much less frightening.

Rachel - me too! The day before my mom passed away, she kept talking about the man in the room. I knew she was seeing Andrew (John Dye's character) cause she loved that show too.

Now I wonder who he saw?

For my fellow Doctor Who fans, sad news. Elisabeth Sladen aka Sarah Jane Smith has passed away.

Heh, a lot of TARflies still communicate with each other just as frequently as before, just on Facebook and Twitter. To stay somewhat on topic, I guess FB killed the forums around here.

Facebook totally killed TARflies. So much that we really don't even give a crap if you go off topic. Like I'm doing now. I miss when this was a happening place.

Well, my name is already all over my YouTube videos so I guess it won't hurt to put it here...I'm Erin Sparks and my FB avatar is currently a picture of Phil holding out a Race envelope if anyone wants to friend me.

I also wish we had a little more traffic. Some of the other sites like TWOP have 18 pages of comments 5 minutes after the episode is over and it's too much to wade through. There was a good balance here at one time.
