Carissa Explains It All - Episode 5
I'm sorry that I am doing episode 5 before 4, but SOMEONE in my house deleted it before I had a chance to watch.
Since I haven't seen the last episode, I have no clue what this u-turn is, but I am happy to see that none of my favorite teams are gone.
I really don't like dating couples on this show because all they ever say is how they want to see if they are meant to be together. Except of course for the Goths, who aren't all kissy kissy gu gu, and then "I hate you blah, blah. Blah".
Why does Ronald always wear that "Who's Your Daddy" shirt? Didn't he bring any other shirts on the race?
Why doesn't Ronald just set up the flights, since he needs everything to be perfect? Maybe Christine does it because her Dad just is so confusing when he talks.
I love when the racers always say that the person they are asking questions to in another country doesn't understand, when it is really they who don't understand.
At this point in the race, I think that teams should start being a little sneaky, but not out loud sneaky like Nicholas and Donald because it only makes the other racers mad.
That was stupid of Nicholas to tell the ticket agent to give the other teams later flights because she got all confused, and ended up giving him the later flight instead.
Wait a minute, it looks like the ticket lady is a trickster after all because she gave Nathan and Jennifer earlier tickets, and even spoke English. I bet that she had fun fooling with them.
The blondes are just being silly by not wanting the other teams to see which seats they are in. It is not like you can steal each other's seats. All I can guess is that some of the racers must really smell bad by now, and they don't want to sit next to them.
I like how TK was telling Nathan and Jennifer, the most stressed out couple on the race, how the stressed out ones don't last. For some reason, I think that he is just messing with them, because his eyes are way too shifty for me.
What happened to Shana and Jennifer? They were so nice in the beginning of the race. Now, they are acting more like a dating couple by fighting all the time.
The whole airport stuff is boring me. I just wish that they would get to where they are going already, and do some detour and roadblock stuff, which is my favorite part of the race.
When Jennifer ran out of the airport, she was yelling about Pete. Did I miss a racer named Pete or did the editors get sleepy with all of the airport footage and forget that Pete is a camera guy?
Did Kynt turn British on his flight over to Lithuania? He reminds me of Mirna trying to speak with an accent so that the people understand her better.
I like how Ronald told Christina that it was a great idea to follow a taxi. Hasn't he watched this show before (especially the last few seasons) where all they ever did was follow taxis?
If I was picked to do this roadblock, I would so sneak some of that food in the basket. Maybe some of those famous pastries that Ronald was talking about are in there.
That rug lady looked so happy to be on camera. She was all blushing and stuff. I really liked her.
Phil, if you are reading this column, will you please pick me sometime to hand out a clue? The clue people always look like they are having so much fun.
That hairdresser place is the hardest one to find. It really doesn't seem fair, even though the editors tried to pretend that they walked past it. I replayed it more than ten times and didn't see it.
I didn't know that Lithuanians liked gnomes so much. Maybe that is why my Grandma Sandy, who is half Lithuanian, loves them so much and has them all over her garden. I wonder if I ordered a Travelocity Gnome, would I get it by Christmas for her garden? I bet she would really like that.
Kynt and Vyxsin were really smart about how they did the counting, by each doing it, and then going over their number every 100 posts. Plus, they didn't have any of those crazy people or kids trying to mess them up.
That had to be one of the best first place prizes ever. Ten days in Japan doing all kinds of awesome stuff. I hope that they don't end up selling it back, and that have a lot of fun using it.
Ronald is just plain crazy to do those stilts with his hernia. Maybe Christina was worried that he would do too much talking and not enough counting if they did the fence one.
I really don't think that half of these racers have ever really watched this show before. How do they not know what the Travelocity Gnome looks like?
Shana is always yelling at Jennifer when she is the one with the problems. I hope that she will be a little nicer to her in Sequester because I really feel bad for Jennifer. You could tell that she wanted to do this so badly. It is too bad that she couldn't switch places with the other Jennifer for the rest of the race.
When Jennifer and Shana walked hand in hand into the sunset after their elimination, it made me so sad for them, and I really didn't even like them. Darn you, Amazing Race!
