The ATC Report

In Control – Vol. VIII, No. 8 (v2.0)

Wow. TAR:FE has finally lived up to its heritage. This was definitely the best episode of TAR:FE to date, and arguably the best episode of The Amazing Race – ever. Oddly enough, the show was pre-empted by a country music awards show in every city across North America, with the exception of Nashville.

Of course Steve and Dave, being former racers, get a copy of each episode delivered to us at home every Monday. Thus former racers are the only people to have actually seen this episode outside of the residents of Nashville. Rumor has it that CBS will be re-airing the episode on Wednesday (November 16) at 2:00 AM Eastern time (that’s very late on Tuesday evening, for all you night owls).

…What do you mean, this won’t be posted until long after that? Oh. We understand. Uhhhh…sorry, readers. Apparently you won’t be reading this until long after the show has been rebroadcast. With that in mind…

Wally breaks free

Wally walks away after successfully unloading Lindsay and Lauren in the much-maligned “Sell Your Family Into White Slavery” Roadblock.

Steve and Dave toss the clue
Steve & Dave (arrow) toss the Linz Family’s clue (small box) off the Matterhorn during their cameo appearance. The inset shows an enlarged view of the clue. Teams took yaks to reach Steve and Dave who then threw their clues off the mountain. The teams then had to walk down 4500 feet to find the clue.
