Clown Al Reports!

Schleppping, Schlopping, Fish Buying & Bitching

As I watched this episode, I felt like I was watching it on fast forward mode.
On your mark, get set, and GO!!!!!!!! As I watched this episode, I felt like I was watching it on fast forward mode. Man, oh, man! I turned it on and next thing I know Rob and Amber were at the pit stop??? Whatís that all about? Although I think the producers are really trying to physically exhaust the teams right from the get go, when I watch and see people huffing and puffing and sweating, it cracks me up and it tells me that itís going to be a loooooong, exhausting race to the finish line. I liked episode 2, although like I said it seemed like it was over before it began, all the arguing and Robís little wink to the camera tells us he is playing this to the hilt. Oh, and the collecting of OTHER teamsí money to pay the bus driver . . . JEEZ . . . I predict he will try to antagonize and instigate throughout the entire race. That part of him I really donít care for so much, but I will tell ya, they hustled and got through leg two incredibly quick and worked together real well. As for the other teams, Lynn and Alex of course good for a good chuckle and laugh, Susan and Patrick running out of local currency?? What were they thinking?? And Brian and Greg, you guys were lucky. Címon, I still think you have tons of potential. Oh, and the shoe shining gigÖ Iíd hire him. Okay, fans, hereís my take on it, team by team.

SchlepppingÖSchlopping, fish buying and bitchingÖ..
I am curious to see how Rob will react if he gets into a situation where he canít finagle himself out of it, like a broken down taxi or losing a clue.
Rob & Amber: What more can I say about these two? That they are going to be a team to be reckoned with if they continue to keep their cool and use their smart and sneaky moves throughout the race. Although I thought the asking for money from the other teams and not putting in themselves was low and terrible timing, but maybe thatís his plan, get everyone pissed off at each other and Rob will wink to the cameras and laugh his way to the finish lineÖ They really work well together and are really using their smarts, like asking what airline gets in first and taking ALL the books at once and hustling all the way to the pit stop. They definitely deserved to be first this time. I am curious to see how Rob will react if he gets into a situation where he canít finagle himself out of it, like a broken down taxi or losing a clue. Hmmm, maybe that will shake him up a bit?? I think theyíll be around for a while.

Ron & Kelly: Hmmmm, interesting. Nothing really stood out for me with these two. Maybe I just didnít think to write anything down. Can anyone lend me a hand and tell me something interesting about these two that I missed? WAIT! Didnít they do the book schlep in two trips?? Oh, man, they are not going to win any race if they continue doing stuff like that!!

Ray & Deanna: Okay, starting to see the little arguments come out of these two. I think as the race goes on and they get more and more sleep deprivation and aching, and frustration sets in, we will see a little more arguing back and forth, but heaven knows I donít think they will top Jonathan and Victoria . . . I hope. I still like this team but they HAVE to keep up with the others and stay aware of whatís going on. Not sure if it was such a good thing to jump in to pay the bus driver off so he wonít open the back doors. I am sure the other teams wonít forget this.

Uchenna & Joyce: I didnít really feel like she was hustling throughout this leg of the race at all, especially during the shoe shine. If she is starting to get tired now, BIG TROUBLE, because this is only the beginning. Iím not sure how well this team is going to hold up amongst everyone and all the challenges. They seem like real nice people but in my humble opinion I think they will be lost in the dust if they get too far behind the other teams. They have to stay ahead of the pack and use the pack on their tails as motivation. Again, I donít think it was such a good idea to jump into the lock the bus door on all the others group. It might come back and bite them in the ass. We will soon see!
These guys are killing me, although many people I talk to just want them off, gone, Kaput. I like Ďem, they crack me up!!
Lynn & Alex: These guys are killing me, although many people I talk to just want them off, gone, Kaput. I like Ďem, they crack me up!! Címon, when they went back to the market and accused the grocers of ďrigging the scalesĒ and all the grocers starting screaming at them and they walked away calling them ďbitches!!!!Ē OMG that cracked me up, so funny. I can definitely go for more comments like that!! Oh, how about when Rob was arguing and they said, itís just a good thing people canít be voted off? Címon, thatís priceless. Loved it!! Although it seemed like these two were getting physically tired, I think as the race goes on if the challengers continue to be physical and tiring, their chances start to get slimmer and slimmer. But hey, they definitely keep it fresh for me right now.

Debbie & Bianca: I donít know, they didnít do anything for me, too. Didnít write anything down and canít really recall what the heck they did.

Meredith & Gretchen: I really like these two. I think they are good-hearted, nice people. BUT we all know where that gets people. What were they thinking choosing to buy the ingredients and being low on money??? I just donít know. Hmmm, anyway I think they are doing fine right now but like I said before, as time goes on I think their chances grow less and less. But good luck guys, and give it your all. I hope you prove me wrong.

Susan &Patrick: OH BOYÖwhen their luck runs out, they are going to be in trouble, obviously they exchanged some of their money but not all of it, why? I remember Jon and I made the same mistake once and then decided that in every country we will change over ALL the money. I guess it is only the second leg, but it just seems to me that they have been very lucky, and sooner or later itís going to run out. Oh, and whatís with Patrickís kind of like singing when he has to do something?? And when he was acting like a Hari Krishna with the flower for money dealÖUGGH!!! Puhleeeze! Itís nice to see a mother and son on the race, but they have to start becoming aware of whatís going on and try to push up to the front, they have to stay in front or else I think itís curtains for them.
I still like these guys, but they really cut it too close for comfort this last episode, they need to hustle throughout and look for every shortcut possible.
Brian & Greg: I still like these guys, but they really cut it too close for comfort this last episode, they need to hustle throughout and look for every shortcut possible. They were just plain old lucky they got out of the cab and ran for the pit stop before Megan and Heidi did. Okay, guys, we will give ya that one episode as a fluke. Címon boys, you need to get into gear and show us what ya got!

Megan & Heidi: It really just came down to the first team to make the move and run their asses off to the pit stop. The guys did it first and I think that was the only reason why you are now in Sequesterville.

Well, it was a crazy, fast-paced episode two. I am looking forward to all the rest and I am sure it will become more and more interesting and exciting. So far I really am enjoying this season. I just think the teams have to start kicking into gear, and I hate to say it, but following Rob and Amberís lead. Give them some competition to start worrying them and getting them frustrated. I know I said all along itís not about Rob and Amber, but the rest of the teams have to start racing as if they always want to stay in front of them.

Until next time . . . .
