Astrological Predictions - Episode Four

Colin and Christie are going to stay strong, thoughtful, and focused this leg, but it won't be an easy one for them.
Colin Saturn/Aries/12th house
and
Christie Neptune/Cancer/9th House
Colin and Christie are going to stay strong, thoughtful, and focused this leg, but it won't be an easy one for them. His cast is the same as Dennis and Erica's pre-race cast, and that led me to call them as one of the first four teams out, as indicating attention to detail, precision and a tendency to high-risk/high-reward situations; but lousy luck in general. Add the 12th House, the house of self-undoing, and Colin is going to carefully weigh options, take everything into consideration -- and still make the wrong choice. It may not be major, but it will be the wrong choice, and it will cost them. Christie's Neptune/Cancer combination will balance out Colin's bad cast, though; it's an indication that she'll be both creative and tenacious, and her Ninth House is wisdom; she'll see that the choice is bad, and try to correct it, or at least act to minimize it's effect. If they can keep luck out of the equation, and if Colin will listen to Christie, they'll drop a place or two, but remain at the

front of the pack

Charla Uranus/Aquarius/4th House
and
Mirna Mars/Sagittarius/10th House
Charla's cast indicates that she's going to be a bit more off-the-wall, while Mirna settles down somewhat, or at least shows us a new side of her flakiness.
Charla's cast indicates that she's going to be a bit more off-the-wall, while Mirna settles down somewhat, or at least shows us a new side of her flakiness. Uranus is unexpected changes, Aquarius' hallmark is flexibility and the embracing of change. The 4th House is the house of foundations. Charla is going to deal well with Russia; once again, she'll roll with whatever gets thrown at her, and try to manage her histrionic partner as well. Mirna's going continue expecting others to play by her rules, feeling betrayed or slighted when they won't (Mars and the Tenth House), and she's going to continue with the drama and flightiness (Sagittarius). Why am I looking for a different kind of weirdness? Because her first three casts were all Air signs, which tend to be flaky through obliviousness; Sagittarius is a Fire sign, and tends toward flakiness-by-choice. Still, it's pretty much the same dynamic that they're used to working under, so I don't think that it will hurt them badly. It is exhausting for Charla, though, and she's the real powerhouse of the team, so I expect to see them drop in the rankings, finishing somewhere in the

back of the pack

Brandon Neptune/Capricorn/11th House
and
Nicole Neptune/Aries/8th House
Like Donny in the second leg, Brandon is going to make bad decisions, or at least questionable ones for no very good reason (Neptune), and then insist on sticking to them (Capricorn). His Eleventh House, though, indicates that's he still got his eye on winning the Race, where Donny was busy thinking about his relationship with Alison, so I don't expect that we'll see another self-destructive leg like Alison and Donny's second leg. Nicole will also be able to lessen the damage, although her decisions may not be any more grounded in reason (she's got Neptune, too). Her Aries indicates that she is also keeping focused on the greater prize, and it's a strong, don't-give-up leader sign. The big question is whether her Aries can take control from his Capricorn. Once again, if she can take the reins of the team for this leg, she'll somehow manage to keep it on track. If she can't, they'll crash and burn. Since she's already done it once, I think that she can, and will, and will keep them in the

back of the pack
Bob's going to continue the steady Race he's been running so far, relying on himself (Sun) and his partner, and staying focused on the matter at hand.
Bob Sun/Scorpio/6th House
and
Joyce South Node/Sagittarius/2nd House
Bob's going to continue the steady Race he's been running so far, relying on himself (Sun) and his partner, and staying focused on the matter at hand. (Scorpio: loyalty to proven allies and emotional intensity.) His Sixth House is work, so he'll continue to simply do what has to be done. He hasn't gone as far in the "all by himself" direction as Jim and Marsha did in their final leg, though; both the Sun and Scorpio, while primarily self-oriented, aren't loners; both enjoy the company of others. Joyce once again has some old baggage that she'd be better off dropping by the wayside (South Node); Sagittarius's concern with "fairness" and loyalty, and the Second House's concern with ethics and principles indicate that she may be holding a grudge, and I'm going to guess that it's against Mirna, for the bag incident in the airport at Bariloche. I'm also going to say that she mostly lets it go, though; Sagittarius hates baggage.
Another solid but not spectacular leg from these two keeps them in the running, and in the

front of the pack

Kami South Node/Scorpio/5th House
and
Karli Moon/Capricorn/1st House
Kami (like Joyce) is carrying around something that she'd be better off getting rid of; at a guess, she's still got a grudge against Chip over the taxi in leg 2. The difference is that Scorpio will cherish baggage like that for a long time, where Sagittarius is more likely to let it go. Scorpio can also actively seek revenge, and feel good about it (Fifth House: pleasure and warm fuzzies). Karli's going to have a bit of trouble emotionally (the Moon, emotional instability) as she finds herself having to do something that's contrary to her basic nature to get what she wants (First House/ Capricorn). Both Scorpio and the Moon indicate a tendency to leap before you look, so expect to see decisive moves made based on incomplete information, like swimming to the island or playing roulette without getting the clue. They're still running a reactive race, and it looks like this is going to be a frantic leg, as well. The focus is there, but it's aimed at the wrong thing. They'll stay in the

back of the pack

Linda Venus/Leo/7th House
and
Karen Sun/Cancer/11th House
Leo has been good to the Bowling Moms; it's come up in two of the three leg casts so far, and both times, they finished in the top four.
Leo has been good to the Bowling Moms; it's come up in two of the three leg casts so far, and both times, they finished in the top four. The Sun is also a good Planet for them. From what I've seen, they're tapping the "self" aspect of both, rather than the "ego" aspect. This is another team that has nicely complementary casts: Venus is what you value; the Sun, what and who you are. Leo is a leader, Cancer is quietly determined, but comfortable as a follower. The Seventh House is relationships; the Eleventh, friends who share the same hopes and goals as you do. The teamwork between these two friends will continue to make it possible for them to stay in the top of the pack. (I'll go so far as to say at this point, that they may rival Rob and Brennan for smooth co-operation through the Race by the end.) This week, they'll move up, to be

First to the Mat

Chip Jupiter/Virgo/8th House
and
Kim Neptune/Pisces/10th House
Finally, this team is going to show us something besides group-think; and they've started off with a nicely balanced cast. Chip is going to be practical and down-to-earth but optimistic, paying attention to both the greater scope of things (Jupiter) and the fine details (Virgo). Kim's going to be much more intuitive with double Neptune influence, and she'll put as much energy into whatever she's doing as it requires and not a bit more (Pisces). His Eighth House is "vitality, but also misfortune", her Tenth is success and gains from education. We still may not see much of Kim, though, as neither Neptune nor Pisces are front-and-center, look-at-me influences, and Jupiter certainly is. This is the team that I most expect to see bust out with some Russian, between Kim's Tenth House and Chip's Mercury-ruled Virgo (Mercury is the planet of languages, and this is the only team to have Mercury in this leg). They're going to move up, not all the way, but into the

front of the pack
Not a cheerful outlook for the Doughboys.
Marshall Neptune/Capricorn/3rd House
and
Lance Pluto/Sagittarius/1st House

Not a cheerful outlook for the Doughboys. Again like Donny in the second leg, Marshall is going to make bad decisions, or at least questionable ones (Neptune) and then insist on sticking to them (Capricorn). The Third House rules the way you relate to others, and in Marshall's case, that doesn't seem to be very well. We may see him get burned by someone he's antagonized (Mirna?). Lance is going to be fretting about the worst possible outcome (Pluto, a very pessimistic planet), but then shrugging it off as "not going to happen to us" (Sagittarius, a ridiculously optimistic sign), because of course, it couldn't happen to him (First House; the house of ego and self). Why am I putting them below Brandon and Nicole? Because Nicole's Aries is a much better "just say no to stupidity" sign than Lance's Sagittarius is, and because the Texas Models' Houses are better. Wave bye-bye to the nice people, Marshall and Lance, you're
